About Apprenticeships ‘Get In the Game’ competition Prize draw T&Cs
By submitting your details to the About Apprenticeships ‘Get In the Game’ competition and your CV to our jobs board (provided by WINCHESTER CONSULTING LIMITED known as Talentview Construction) between Monday 30th October 2023 and Monday 4th December 2023 you agree to enter into a prize draw and will be in with a chance of winning one of four prizes. First place winner will receive a Sony PlayStation 5 Console with a custom-designed controller. Second, third and fourth-place winners will receive one custom-designed PS5 or Xbox controller (the “Prize”).
By submitting your CV to the jobs board you also agree to the terms and conditions laid out by WINCHESTER CONSULTING LIMITED, including their Privacy Notice available here.
Only one entry per household is eligible, but there is no obligation to enter this competition if you wish to register on the jobs board. Employees of Checkatrade and their families are not eligible to enter.
You must be 16 years of age or over and a UK resident to enter. If you are under 18 then a parent or guardian will need to accept the gift on your behalf.
There will be four individual winners selected at random from the full list of entries (each a “Winner” and collectively the “Winners”) and will be contacted by the email address used to register for the competition and the jobs board. The email address must match. The Winners will be chosen on or shortly after 4th December 2023 and notified shortly thereafter. If any of the Winners reject the Prize, cannot be contacted or fail to confirm acceptance of their Prize within three working days of being notified, that Winner will forfeit their Prize and Checkatrade reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
Checkatrade reserves the right to substitute the Prize with a prize of equal or greater value if the Prize described above cannot be provided to one or more of the Winners. The Prize is non-transferable, and no cash alternative will be given.
We reserve the right to remove any entry I suggest we add the following after the words ‘and to administer the draw.’ Data of all entrants will be deleted 30 days after the winners have been contacted. Checkatrade’s decision will be final, binding and no correspondence will be entered into. Checkatrade will use any information which you provide or which we obtain from our dealings with you in accordance with our Privacy Notice and to administer the draw. This Prize draw will be promoted on more than one About Apprenticeships/Checkatrade website and social media account.
Checkatrade must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. If you are a Winner, Checkatrade will provide your surname to anyone who emails info@aboutapprenticeships.com by 4th December 2023. If you object to this information being made available, please advise Checkatrade by email to info@aboutapprenticeships.com. In such circumstances, Checkatrade must still provide the information to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
Checkatrade shall not be responsible or liable for any expenses incurred by any Winners over and above the Prize offered.
Checkatrade reserves the right to change, alter or withdraw the prize draw at any time. If any of these terms and conditions are found to be void or unenforceable, that term shall be deemed to be deleted and the remaining terms and conditions shall continue in full force and effect.
These terms and conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising is subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
